Cookie Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie the Palestine Techno Park website (technopark.ps) uses or lets other companies set, and how to change your choice. The Privacy Policy explains the rest of what we collect.

Your choice

The first time you visit, the site asks whether you accept analytics cookies and external media. Nothing in those two groups runs until you say yes, and "Reject all" is as easy as "Accept all". We remember your answer for six months.

You can change it at any time: open Cookie settings, or use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent for analytics, the site deletes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. You can also delete cookies in your browser's settings.

Necessary cookies

These are needed for the site to work and are always on.

  • technopark_session (set by technopark.ps, kept for 60 hours): keeps your visit together from page to page: forms, the security check on registration forms, and signing in to a member account.
  • XSRF-TOKEN (set by technopark.ps, kept for 60 hours): protects forms against submissions forged by another website.
  • tp_consent (set by technopark.ps, kept for 6 months): remembers your cookie choices and when you made them.

On pages with a protected form, Google reCAPTCHA may store information in your browser to tell people apart from automated programs. The form cannot be sent without it.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

  • _ga (set by Google Analytics on technopark.ps, kept for up to 2 years): tells one visitor's visits apart from another's, so we can count visitors.
  • _ga_5BQP0MYJ3V (set by Google Analytics on technopark.ps, kept for up to 2 years): keeps track of the current visit for the same count.

Google Analytics tells us which pages are visited, how visitors arrived and what kind of device they used. It never runs on pages reached through a personal link, such as a password-reset or unsubscribe link.

External media (only with your consent)

Some pages include a Google map, a Google calendar or a Facebook post. These are loaded from Google's and Facebook's servers, which then receive your IP address and can set or read their own cookies; their names and lifetimes are chosen by those companies. Until you allow external media, each one is replaced by a notice with a button to load just that item.

Videos

YouTube videos on this site are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which Google describes as not storing information about visitors unless they play the video. If you play one, YouTube may set its own cookies.

No cookies

Cloudflare measures how quickly our pages load without using cookies. The fonts, page scripts and share buttons that other companies deliver (Google Fonts, cdnjs, jsDelivr and AddToAny) do not set cookies on this site.
