About PTP Virtual & Augmented Reality Projects
In PTP's aim to introduce, support and incubate new technologies in Palestine, PTP has launched a fully integrated programme for the development of Virtual and Augmented Reality applications in Palestine. This programme and its activities focus on bringing these new technologies closer to the masses and implement them into practical projects covering different areas and aspects such as education, healthcare, tourism and entertainment. The cultural aspect and Painting Arts in particular, is one of the development areas PTP is focusing on to try and highlight and present Painting Arts in new forms and through new mediums.

VRT Project:
VRT will start with PHASE 01 of the implementation with 5 Palestinian Painting Artists who will be trained on the use of virtual reality equipment and Tilt Brush technology to virtually paint or re-paint 5 different virtual paintings under one conceptual theme. The theme will be a Palestinian theme such as Jerusalem or The Right to Return. The Artists work and experience will be fully registered with high quality video coverage from which a supplementary art form can arise: the making-of video.
The duration PHASE 01 will be 3 months which will include the setting up the Art Lab, training of Artists of the use of Virtual Painting (Tilt Brush) and executing the virtual art work.

- New Art Viewing Experience (Experiencing 3D 360 interactive Art - A Journey inside the Painting)
- Dynamic Audiovisual experience (Adding movement & sound to the paintings)
- New and Engaging Form of Promoting Palestinian Art and Artists
- Launching Palestinian Artist Platform (Database)
- Conserving Palestinian Art and reintroducing it to the masses in new and appealing forms
- Providing Palestinian Museums with new exhibition alternatives using virtual reality solutions
