The Tour Palestine platform

The Tour Palestine platform aims to address the limitations and lack of authentic experiences faced by tourists visiting Palestine. Traditionally, travel agencies offer programs that provide limited choices to tourists, focusing mainly on fancy hotels, popular restaurants, and well-known religious sites. These options tend to be expensive and don't allow visitors to truly explore and experience the real Palestine.

Over the years, Palestine's dependence on tourism has decreased, with a significant decline in tourist numbers and revenues. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, sales from tourism amounted to $245 million, with 606,000 foreign visitors, contributing to 1.5% of the gross national product. On average, each visitor spent around $404 on their vacation in Palestine.

However, most of the spending from tourists is directed towards fancy hotels and restaurants, which limits their exposure to the authentic traditional and ancient aspects of Palestine. To enhance the visitor experience and increase tourist spending, it is important to direct tourists, both local and foreign, to traditional restaurants, accommodations, and handmade traditional products. By doing so, tourists can have unique and immersive adventures, enabling them to explore and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of Palestine.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism, the majority of tourists visiting Palestine come from countries such as Romania, Russia, America, and various European countries. The Tour Palestine platform seeks to provide these tourists with alternative choices and authentic experiences that showcase the true essence of Palestine, allowing them to create lasting memories and contribute to the local economy.
