Daliyat Al Karmil Farm

Daliyat Al Karmil Farm is an educational eco-tourism farm dedicated to sustainable development and the cultivation of organic, healthy products. The farm spans one dunum of land and specializes in seedless grape cultivation, grape leaf production, and the growth of Palestinian medicinal herbs such as thyme, sagebrush, rosemary, and Persian thyme.

The project encompasses several objectives, with a primary focus on prioritizing sustainable development and providing organic, high-quality products. By adopting organic farming practices, the farm ensures the production of healthy and environmentally friendly goods. Additionally, empowering women in the region is a significant aspect of the farm's mission, creating job opportunities and promoting their active involvement in the agricultural sector.

Daliyat Al Karmil Farm is not only an agricultural enterprise but also a destination for eco-tourism. Visitors have the opportunity to witness the beauty of organic farming firsthand and enjoy organic meals prepared using firewood. Educational sessions are also provided to raise awareness about the benefits of organic agriculture and the importance of sustainable farming practices.

Environmental friendliness is deeply embedded in the farm's operations. Organic fertilizer is utilized, recycled materials are incorporated, and agricultural lands are transformed into green spaces. Packaging materials for products are recyclable, minimizing environmental impact. Modern technology, including sensors controlling irrigation and fertilization, is employed to optimize resource utilization and conserve water.

Furthermore, the farm aims to produce organic fertilizer on-site and generate biogas through fermentation processes, contributing to renewable energy production and waste reduction. The farmyard area is rehabilitated to create a welcoming space with tables, chairs, and other amenities for visitors. Educational visits are organized for school students to learn about organic farming and environmental stewardship.

Looking ahead, the farm has plans to expand its offerings to include a variety of vegetables and implement environmental paths to connect with the Palestinian Heritage Path. The project remains dedicated to sustainable development, responsible resource management, and promoting the values of organic farming throughout the region.
