The Hive Innovation Hub and Ramallah Municipality Join Forces to Support Entrepreneurs

In a significant step toward strengthening Palestine's entrepreneurial ecosystem, Ms. Wala’ Samara, Director of The Hive Innovation Hub at Palestine TechnoPark, and Mr. Issa Kassis, Mayor of Ramallah, formalized a partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration between The Hive and Ramallah's "Makani" incubator to jointly support startups and entrepreneurs in the region.

The MOU signing ceremony took place during the official inauguration of the Makani Incubator in Ramallah, underscoring the shared commitment of both institutions to foster innovation and economic growth. This strategic partnership highlights the importance of cross-sector collaboration between municipal authorities and technology hubs in creating an enabling environment for Palestinian startups to thrive.

By combining The Hive's expertise in innovation development with Makani Incubator's local reach and resources, the agreement paves the way for enhanced support programs, knowledge sharing, and joint initiatives that will benefit entrepreneurs across Ramallah and beyond. The collaboration represents a meaningful advancement in building an integrated support system for Palestine's growing startup community.

This partnership aligns with Palestine TechnoPark's broader mission to drive digital transformation and economic development through innovation, while supporting Ramallah Municipality's efforts to position the city as a hub for entrepreneurship and technological advancement.
