Hike Up Tourism Incubation Program: Empowering Innovation in Palestinian Tourism

As part of its commitment to fostering innovation and economic growth, Palestine TechnoPark is leading the implementation of the Hike Up Tourism Incubation Program, an initiative designed to support entrepreneurs in transforming the Palestinian tourism sector.

After completing their training sessions and refining their projects, participants had the opportunity to showcase their developed tourism-related initiatives and prototypes during Pitching Day. Their creativity and dedication highlighted the potential to drive meaningful change in the industry, offering innovative solutions to enhance tourism experiences and boost local economies.

As the program progresses, 20 outstanding projects will be selected to receive $5,000 each, providing essential funding to help bring their ideas to life. The selection process is still ongoing, and the winners will be announced soon.

The Hike Up Program is part of the broader initiative “Enhancing Economic Opportunities and Improving Livelihoods for Communities Along the Palestinian Heritage Trail.” Funded by the Japanese Social Development Fund in collaboration with the World Bank, the program aims to empower entrepreneurs, create economic opportunities, and strengthen sustainable tourism in Palestine.

Stay tuned for the official announcement of the selected projects as Palestine TechnoPark continues to support innovation and entrepreneurship in the tourism sector!
