Palestine TechnoPark and Gaza Sky Geeks Launch Cybersecurity Intermediate Training Program

In October, Palestine TechnoPark (PTP) and Gaza Sky Geeks (GSG) launched the Cybersecurity Intermediate training program, following their strategic partnership aimed at strengthening Palestine’s tech ecosystem. The program comes as a result of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the two organizations to accelerate the growth of Palestine’s technology sector.

After a thorough selection process, 17 applicants were chosen to participate in this specialized program, designed to enhance cybersecurity skills and address the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field. The training focuses on equipping participants with the knowledge and practical experience needed to tackle cybersecurity challenges in today’s digital landscape.

This initiative is part of the broader efforts between PTP and GSG to foster innovation, develop tech talent, and create a vibrant tech community across both the West Bank and Gaza. The Cybersecurity Intermediate training is one of the first key programs to emerge from the collaboration, aligning with the shared vision of building a sustainable and forward-thinking tech ecosystem.

The MOU between PTP and GSG includes several other initiatives, such as joint technical events, data collection for market analysis, and internship and employment opportunities, all aimed at creating a thriving, inclusive tech environment in Palestine.

Through this collaboration, both organizations are committed to empowering Palestinian talent, connecting them with global opportunities, and facilitating access to tech resources in Gaza, strengthening the region’s position in the international tech community.
