On November 12th, Palestine Technopark organized “the beauty of 3D Digitization and its importance” session. Led by Sam N Husseini from Lion Heart 3D, attendees were transported into the world of technology and its role in capturing and saving heritage sites in a digital format, ensuring their preservation and accessibility for all.
Participants were introduced to various methods and techniques used in 3D digitization, including photogrammetry and laser scanning, and learned about the potential for creating interactive and immersive experiences for viewers, allowing them to engage with the past in a meaningful way. The session also highlighted the role of 3D digitization in creating job opportunities for the youth, particularly in the areas of 3D modeling, animation, and virtual reality.
