After a long preparation, entrepreneurs who use industry 4.0 technologies in their startups or have an idea they want to work on were able to apply for the Factory 4.0 acceleration program. Palestine Technopark's main goal in establishing this acceleration program is to focus on enhancing innovation and entrepreneurial mindset, enhancing the skills and capabilities of Palestinian entrepreneurs in the 4.0 technology field. Hence, while the Factory 4.0 application is open, we have organised activities to help entrepreneurs know more about Factory 4.0 and industry 4.0 technology.
Therefore on July 19, we organised Factory 4.0 Technical Day. More than 150 students from all universities gathered in Palestine Technopark to learn more about the technologies of Factory 4.0. The Technical day included technical sessions with Local, regional and international experts.
Mahmoud Barham, a Product Development Expert at Azr Technologies, talked about Product Development from Idea to Manufacturing. Then join us online from Egypt, Mohamed Abdelgawad, Industry 4.0 & Process Engineer at Saint-Gobain, to give the attendance an introduction to Industry 4.0. We know the importance of discussing the connectivity challenge in implementing industry 4.0 technologies and how to deal with it. Therefore, Othman Alshekh, the Industry 4.0 expert, joined us online. We ended Factory 4.0 Technical open day with Dr Ramzi Hassan, Content Developer for Interactive Audiovisual Experiences, who talked about AR/VR and the Virtual Industrial Revolution.
