Palestine Techno Park, in collaboration with An-Najah National University and the Palestinian Monetary Authority, held a workshop on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at An-Najah National University.
Additionally, on Monday, September 16, 2019, in partnership with Birzeit University and in collaboration with the Palestinian Monetary Authority, a workshop titled Financial Technology: Between the Present and the Future"was held at the Innovation Lab affiliated with the Technological Park at Birzeit University, with the participation of Maisaa Al-Shennar, Head of Business Planning and Transformation Department at the Bahrain Islamic Bank.
The workshop included a general introduction to financial technology and the key turning points in its various uses. It highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in this field for its development and integration into various sectors to enhance their workflow. Opportunities were provided for sharing ideas that can be applied in various sectors.
Representatives from various entities participated in the workshop, including the higher education sector, governmental institutions, the banking sector, non-profit organizations, private sector companies, and university students. It is worth mentioning that these workshops are the first in a series of workshops organized by the Technological Park at three different Palestinian universities: An-Najah National University, Birzeit University, and the Polytechnic University of Palestine respectively. Another workshop is scheduled to take place at the Polytechnic University of Palestine on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, as a continuation of these meetings and to target different regions. Palestine Techno Park aims to integrate modern technology into the Palestinian market through continuous workshops, meetings, and competitions in various fields.
