Palestine TechnoPark Announces Closure of Applications for AI Research Award with Over 40 Submissions

Palestine TechnoPark proudly announced the successful closure of applications for the TechnoPark AI Research Award 2026, a flagship initiative as part of the Palestine AI Week 2026, after receiving more than 40 high-quality research submissions from across Palestine and beyond.

The award, which targets researchers, academics, and graduate students, aims to recognize innovative Artificial Intelligence research that addresses real-world challenges across key sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, education, and finance. The strong participation reflects the growing momentum of AI research and innovation within the Palestinian ecosystem.

All submitted research proposals are currently undergoing a rigorous and independent evaluation process by a specialized jury panel composed of local and international experts, ensuring transparency, quality, and impact-driven selection.

The winners of the TechnoPark AI Research Award 2026 will be officially announced during the main conference of Palestine AI Week, scheduled for April 27, 2026, at Palestine TechnoPark in Birzeit, under the patronage and participation of His Excellency the Prime Minister.

This award forms a key pillar of Palestine AI Week, which aims to:

  • Build national capacity and skills in emerging technologies
