The Maker’s Training Method

AR/VR Innovation Lab’s Boot Camp is a Maker’s Training opportunity in the development of Virtual and Augmented Reality applications and solutions. The curriculum and the training method focus on setting a strong knowledge, technical and management foundation for the participants in the AR/VR boot camp on which they can build and form their field of expertise and their specialism in VR-AR development.

The Maker’s Training Method aims at the implementation of the theoretical and practical knowledge gained from the training into real potential projects in the form of functional prototypes for AR/VR applications or solutions. Participants are divided after the introduction phase into small teams of 4-6 members, where each team collectively works on the development of one project from scratch: from the raw idea to the presentable and tested prototype. All the way through this process, each team is mentored and monitored to ensure its ability to meet the dead lines and provide the quality needed for the end product. At the end of the training period, a hackathon is planned where all teams and their prototypes compete to win the best prototype of the boot camp. All prototypes receive their share of marketing and promotion to guarantee a further development and a chance to be presented to the local and international market.
